1958 No mint Wheat Penny

#1 Unread post by AimsterNY51 »

Brand new to coin collecting, and although I have watched countless hours of videos, I am not sure if I have the incorrect type of magnifying glass but I just can't quite tell if there may be DD on this specific coin. I have attached a copy of the front and back of this 1958 No Mint Wheat Lincoln Penny.

Thank you,
Amy Paolangeli

I don't see anything crazy, maybe reflection doubling.

There's a DDO that does exist on the 1958 Wheat Penny, but this specimen does not feature it and the DDO is very rare.

The "No mint" means that this coin is from Philly

I want to save you a lot of time and frustration finding non-collectable features on coins. The following will help you identify actual doubled dies and RPMs:

Here is a way to find immediate answers when finding something you suspect is a doubled die or RPM:
Please click the following link:

Immediate Answers - How to find your Doubled Die or RPM online

Note:
If you do not find your coin listed using this easy method, then you most likely have a damaged coin or other issues like (non collectable) machine doubling, die deterioration doubling, etc. (look these up at error-ref.com)
