Yes. So very many were made, and Kennedy Halves also were not greatly circulated b/c most people never used them. So there are many in great shape available. A few years ago I was roll searching half dollars by the box and always encountered many new looking halves from 71 and above.
You can find high graded slabbed ones from this time period going online for a lot of money, but those high grades are just about impossible to find from coins that came from circulation. The typical tiny marks and nicks from circulation are not present on the higher graded coins, and this is why those high graded ones sell for so much.

Ok, thank you I just wanted to be sure . These were also bought by roll and searched. was hoping they were good cause they look brand new.
