1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.

2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.

3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.

4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.

5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.

6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.

7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). The prodigal son has returned to coins

#1 Unread post by CarsonSon »

Hi my name is Bradley I am new here and would just like to say thank you to Daniel, your videos have been quite informative and the topics are of much value in my reawakening interest in numismatics. I don’t know what brought you all here but personally my experience has been this, the best time spent is with family and the memories we create that last a lifetime are what it’s all about. My grandpa William Humbert Sr. Was an outstanding gentleman who liked to go to Vegas once a year and play at the penny machines with his cowboy hat on, cigar smokin and a glass of vodka to wash it all down with. Every time I go to a casino or see a beautiful Morgan dollar I think of him and the times when he would tell me about when they actually used those coins in the Slot machines! How times have changed… He passed away 15 years ago and I have missed him ever since. Sometimes I see a nice coin and think to myself how much I would love for him to be here so I can be the one to gift him coins for once. When he passed away he left me his coin collection in his will, but the family situation had fallen apart and deteriorated so much that his beautiful collection had been sold away and ransacked without mercy. Today I’m here to tell you that the same enjoyment of the hobby lives on in me and one day I will restore his collection to its entirety and far beyond what he ever imagined. Thank you for taking the time to read.

Welcome!
Grandfather's seem to have paid a part in a lot of our lives with this hobby. My forum name was my grandfather's and it is in honor of him.

Please make sure to review the forum guidelines before posting any questions about specific coins. That way you will know the minimum info we need in order to help you find an answer.
